An exclusive scholarship for future Caribbean hospitality leaders
Les Roches has joined forces with The Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association Education Foundation (CHTAEF) to provide educational scholarship opportunities to Caribbean hospitality industry professionals.
This initiative aims to support the recovery of the region’s tourism industry through knowledge development and upskilling. As such, we are offering selective, merit-based scholarship grants for our Executive Professional Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)/Professional Development Diploma (PDD) in International Hotel Management.
Our 6-month Executive PGD/PDD is fully remote and flexible, designed to be studied alongside your current job commitments so you can accelerate your career without interrupting it. This program corresponds to the first 4 modules of our 6 modules Executive Masters in International Hotel Management.
Successful applicants will be offered scholarships ranging from USD $10,600 to $12,600 (note these are approximate figures and will vary according to prevailing exchange rates).
The scholarship covers between 60% and 75% of the program cost for accepted Caribbean nationals. Candidates – or their supporting employer – must commit to funding the remaining USD $4,600 to $6,600 cost of the program.
Candidates with strong academic performance will have the opportunity to progress to the Executive Master’s in International Hotel Management, with additional scholarship from Les Roches.

Scholarship requirements
Applications are managed by Les Roches and the CHTAEF. Admissions requirements:
• Work experience: 4 years of proofed experience in the hotel/tourism/hospitality industry OR a minimum one-year supervisory level experience in hotel/tourism/hospitality industry with minimum 4-year’s experience in tangential industries or fields
• English level: Cambridge First Certificate Exam (FCE) or Certificate Advanced English (CAE) / 5.5 International English Language Testing System (IELTS) / 70 Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
• HS Diploma, Associate degree or BA
Note: In order to qualify for a PGD students will have to hold a Bachelor degree. Based on experience level and candidate background we can accept students for PDD without a Bachelor degree.
• 1 or more professional reference letter
• CV or Resume
• Essay explaining your career goals and motivation
• Most recent School’s transcripts and diploma
• Proof of Caribbean nationality i.e. Passport or copy of birth certificate
• Ability and Commitment to allocate approximately 10-hours per week for the duration of the program
Candidates will be first assessed based on the above and invited for an interview as a next step of their application process.

About the Executive Postgraduate / Professional Development Diploma in Hotel Management
The PDD/PGD program is divided into 4 study blocks with 9 subjects. The CHTAEF/Les Roches scholarship program for 2023 intake class will be fully online. Each study block lasts about one month.
